Get your forks ready Husky fans! It’s time for the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl! It’s not a BCS bowl, but hey, we’re in a bowl game.
Washington will face BYU in San Francisco on Dec. 27 at AT&T Park. Both teams will come into this game carrying an 8-4 record.
The Huskies will need to look out for the BYU running attack. BYU quarterback Taysom Hill comes in the game with 1,211 yards rushing and is currently ranked 2nd in the FBS in that category. He also adds 2,645 yards and 19 touchdowns in the air.
Of course we all know what the Husky rushing attack can do. The Huskies will be led by Junior Running Back Bishop Sankey. He is the current Husky leading rusher with 1,775 yards this season. I believe they will really rely on him for this game with all the coaching turmoil the last couple of weeks.
It should be a fun game to watch and hopefully we can come out with a win. It would be nice to go into the Petersen era with a win and hopefully convince a couple key juniors to stick around.
Maybe BCS next year???
